Part 2: Troubleshooting Citrix XenApp 6.5 – No product license found on license server [server name]

Here’s a quick fix to an issue that I’ve seem to have encountered for the second time now.
After you’ve installed XenApp and configured you license server settings, it is time to configure your XenApp server to connect to the license server. For me, every time I import the license and then try and connect to the license server, I get error “No product license found on license server [server name]”

The way to fix this issue for me was actually quite simple. All we have to do is log back in to the license administration console, navigate to Vendor Daemon Configuration, then open Citrix Vendor Daemon and click on Reread License Files. This has worked for me every time!
warning1Now if we go back to the XenApp license configuration window and click next
warning2We can now get through to the licensing model, we chose XenApp as this is what we’re currently licensed for and click apply
warning3There you go! We have now connected our XenApp server to the license server
